It is mutual. Both parties are bound, so it protects you whether you are sharing information, receiving it, or both.
How long does confidentiality last?
You choose the period, typically two to five years after the agreement ends. Trade secrets stay protected for as long as they remain secret.
What if the other party breaks the NDA?
You can go to court for an injunction to stop further disclosure and claim damages for your losses.
